Geotechnical Design Engineer

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

• Receiving, analyzing and processing enquiries from potential customers. 
• Design of Piles and soil improvement through various techniques as per requirement; conducting accurate design calculation and technical assessment.
• Attend technical meetings with clients, consultants and authorities; justify company’s approach of project solution
• Preparing initial work schedule, estimates, work drawings and organizing activities for in time and effective completion of project
• Assist in planning resources requirements for project; assist project managers in successful delivery of projects 
• Preparing work schedule, work drawings, project documents including method statement, design and technical proposals and organizing activities for in time and effective completion of project
• Comparing contract and actual cost estimates and taking necessary action on big difference if arising.
• Support site operations team with design and review work on project site.

Qualification and Experience Requirements

• Qualification:   Civil / Geotechnical Engineer
• Experience:       6-7 years of experience in Geotechnical Engineering; experience in Saudi Arabia is preferred
• Knowledge:       Ground Improvement methods (Vibro, Stone Columns, Dynamic Compaction, Dynamic Replacement), Piling & excavation support methods
• Language:          Good command of English language both written and spoken; knowledge in Arabic is an advantage
